SK_DB LUX3D: prepare lighting effects in SketchUp

Download the plugin and watch the tutorial in INDECO Library; prepare visual cues for LED strips and downlights before visualization.

INDECO Library is open

Browse Plugins, Materials, Context, SketchUp files, 3ds Max files and Upload. The first resource is SK_DB LUX3D and a collected tutorial shared with permission. Empty categories are clearly marked.

What the plugin demonstrates

The package declares SK_DB LUX3D 1.0.0 by sk_db, for SketchUp 2021+. The tutorial shows LED strips along edges, glow regions and downlight cones with direction, spread and color-temperature controls. These are package/tutorial statements, not certification across every SketchUp version.

Install in SketchUp

Save a copy of the project. Open Extensions → Extension Manager → Install Extension, select SK_DB_LUX3D.rbz and confirm only if you trust the source. Keep the RBZ intact; do not rename or manually extract it. Follow any licensing or activation requirements from the author; do not bypass licensing or security controls.

Watch and test a small region

Open Library → Plugin → SK_DB LUX3D → Watch tutorial. The video is about 3 minutes 49 seconds and demonstrates edges, glow areas and downlight effects. Test a project copy, checking position, direction and coverage before applying broadly. Keep visual cues from hiding important materials or geometry.

Using it with INDECO

Export a clear view and use the existing INDECO visualization flow. Visible lighting effects may provide visual cues, but direct reading of this plugin’s light types, directions or physical parameters by INDECO has not been verified. This resource does not promise accurate automatic recognition of downlights, spots or LED strips, or physically accurate lighting simulation.

Attribution and safety

Credit the original author sk_db. The plugin includes encrypted code and licensing components; INDECO does not decode, modify or bypass them. Third-party resources are not guaranteed safe; verify the source and test in an appropriate environment before production use.
